I’m waiting for Google to provide a plugin architecture so that I can use third party addons such as integrated del.icio.us support to synchronise and search my bookmarks from within Chrome.

I am glad there is now a WebKit alternative to Safari on Windows. Google should just make sure that they keep the WebKit up to date. Safari on Windows, while fast, has never felt like it belongs.
I wonder if I will use Chrome when its released for Mac OS….

r5d4, indeed! I nearly burst out laughing when I saw the BBC coverage of Google Chrome. The male BBC reporter asks the female Google presenter how to browse the internet “without my wife knowing what I’ve been looking at”. LOL.

Scott: Yes, it’s minimalist. I like the extra space to browse, it’s good for laptops and small screens no? The title bars are a little thin though, sometimes it’s difficult to move the windows around when you’re used to standard sized title bars.

So far? Not really impressed at all. To me it lacks class. There’s no doubt it’s fast, loads from cold faster than IE, FF etc. But it looks very “flat”. As you know I like minimalist design, I try to practice it, but to my mind this there needs to be some sparkle in a UI and Chrome does not “shine” on this front. IMHO it’s got a heck of a long way to go.

The Chrome needs a little ‘polish’, but yes am impressed.
